Camp Read-A-Lot is a free family event filled with literacy activities geared for PreK-4th grade.
The event takes place in the Family Life Center on Thursday, February 28th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. A dinner including hot dogs and macaroni and cheese will be served.
There will be multiple stations set up around the FLC for students and parents to explore. Do the book walk and take home a free, age appropriate book. You can enter a design a bookmark contest and play a variety of games centered around literacy. There will be story time with Mrs. Tanner, a photo booth, and the best station of all– make your own s’mores!
A representative from the Jacksonville Public Library will be on hand, so you and your family can sign up for a free library card giving you access to the full library system in Duval County.
Everything at Camp Read-A-Lot is free, but we still need you to register here or complete a form in the office.
