Lutheran Schools Week is just around the corner.  The week will be filled with special dress days and activities to celebrate our Lutheran School.  We start the week with out students participating in worship on Sunday morning and end with chapel on Friday.  Invite your grandparents or special friend now!

        

  • Sunday, March 4th: Special Lutheran Schools Week worship services!
    • 8:00 a.m. 7th – 8th grade chorus and bell choir
    • 10:45 a.m. PK4 – 6th grade students sing 
  • Monday, March 5th: Mismatch Day
    • How mismatched can you be? If it matches, don’t wear it!
    • Lutheran Schools Week kick off assembly in the gym at 8:50 a.m.
    • Teachers perform “If I Weren’t A Teacher” during assembly
  • Tuesday, March 6th Favorite Book Character Day
    • Dress up like your favorite book character and show off your love of reading
    • Author Talk: Author Keith Lawrence Roman will lead presentations throughout the day
  • Wednesday, March 7th Team Spirit Day or Be Bold in Blue
    • Dress in gear from your favorite team or wear blue to support diabetes awareness
    • Field Day: All students will participate in a wide variety of fun activities all over our campus in the morning and early afternoon. Parent volunteers are needed and welcome!
    • Faculty vs. 8th grade “Minute to Win It” games at the end of the day.
  • Thursday, March 8th Pajama Day
    • Everyone can wear their favorite jammies to school!
    • Movie Day: Classes will watch Sing
    • “Framily” Feud: 6:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center. Fun for all ages as Pastor Popp hosts!
  • Friday, March 9th Dress Your Best/Wear a Cross Day
    • Each child is asked to wear his or her Sunday best!
    • Grandparents and Special FriendsDay 8:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
      • Each student can invite his or her grandfather, grandmother, or other relative or special family friend.
      • At 8:45 a.m. there will be a reception for grandparents and special friends in the Family Life Center.
      • The special friends will attend chapel in the gym with the students at 9:30 a.m., and then go back to the classroom for a special activity. Then students can leave with their grandparent or special friend when school dismisses at 12:00 p.m.
