Grace is a place of transformation. Students learn they are created by God as a unique, unrepeatable miracle. Students discover and develop individual talents, using their strengths to overcome challenges along the way. We are not the same, but we are all valued and loved as members of our Grace family.
Our student body reflects the world we live in. Visit our campus, and you will see students from all backgrounds, faiths, ethnicities, languages, and abilities. Grace is a welcoming community where students are loved and empowered to move boldly into the future.
Our team of highly qualified, experienced teachers blend a nurturing environment with high academic expectations that challenges our students to do more than they believed possible. We meet students where they are and give them the tools to grow into all that they can become. Our classroom teachers are licensed in education and many hold advanced degrees.
Our Academic Program
Accredited by the National Lutheran Schools Association, Grace excels at creating curriculum that engages students and leads to learning. Curriculum is so much more than a textbook! Our teachers use a variety of books, technology, instructional methods, and activities to reach students with different learning styles.
Students gain grit as they work through STEM projects and hands-on activities to challenge thinking and explore ideas. Mistakes become a tool for learning instead of a reason for defeat as students persevere through hard tasks and find the confidence to try new things.
Students learn citizenship by participating in service learning projects that benefit our local, national, and global community. We have partnered with organizations such as K9s for Warriors, First Coast News, Wolfson Children’s Hospital and more.
Our Grace Family
When parents are involved in education, students succeed. We are committed to building positive relationships not just with our students but with the entire family as well. Special programs, family events, and volunteer opportunities bring us together in Christian fellowship and mutual support and care. Together, we truly become the Grace Family.
As a Christian school, we believe, teach and confess that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Lord, and that through faith in Him we receive forgiveness of sins, eternal life and salvation.
As a Lutheran school, we follow the Bible-based teachings of Martin Luther that inspired the reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century. The teachings of Luther can be summarized in three phrases: Grace alone, Faith alone, Scripture alone.
- Grace Alone: God loves the people of the world, even though they are sinful, rebel against Him and do not deserve His love. He sent Jesus, His Son, to love the unlovable and save the ungodly.
- Faith Alone: By His suffering and death as the substitute for all people of all time, Jesus purchased and won forgiveness and eternal life for them. Those who hear this Good News and believe it have the eternal life that it offers. God creates faith in Christ and gives people forgiveness through Him.
- Scripture Alone: The Bible is God’s inerrant and infallible Word, in which He reveals His Law and His Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ. God’s Word is true, and it is the only basis for Christian doctrine.

Grace Lutheran School is a place where students will…
- Learn they are saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ
- Find acceptance, grow in confidence, and build life-long friendships
- Act with compassion and a servant’s heart
- Maximize their God given potential through excellence in academics
- Think deeply and creatively as they actively engage in learning
Grace is built on prayer, the solid foundation of God’s Word, and the example of Jesus Christ. The Bible teaches that parents are the primary educators of their children, and we are here to support you in that process by providing a Christian learning environment where all students can succeed. With Christ as the cornerstone of our educational program, our teachers and staff meet the spiritual, academic, emotional, and physical needs of each child.
Grace Lutheran School has built a solid foundation of learning since it opened its doors in 1998. This “place of Grace” has helped thousands of students in PreK 4- 8th grade grow intellectually, socially, artistically, athletically, and spiritually.
Grace began with a vision between church leaders and parents to bring quality Christian education to the East Arlington area of Jacksonville, Florida. It began with early childhood, but parents quickly realized that Grace was a special place.
In partnership with parents, the leadership of Grace expanded the program to include elementary grades. During this time of growth, relationships between parents, staff, and students flourished. Seeing the need for an academically strong, Christian-based middle school, Grace again expanded and graduated their first 8th grade class in 2008.
Graduates from Grace excel in private and public high schools all over Jacksonville. Our students are prepared for the challenges of high school. They leave Grace with the skills to advocate for themselves, stand up to social peer pressure, and handle the academic rigour of advanced high school programs. Grace alumni have completed advanced educational programs including the IB program, the Early College Program, AICE, and AVID.
We are proud of our history and excited for our future! We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of excellence so every Grace Eagle can soar.
